Columbia Fire Truck Pull
On 3/28/2026, the Irmo Fire District participated in the 13th Annual South Carolina Fire Truck Pull, hosted by @curingkidscancer. The event brought together 27 teams, each competing to pull a 20,000-lb fire truck 50 feet in the fastest time.
The Irmo Fire District secured a first-place finish, recording the fastest time of the day.
Collectively, the event raised $50,000 to fund pediatric cancer research, supporting continued efforts to improve outcomes for children and families affected by cancer. The Irmo Fire District is proud to support this important cause and honored to represent our community.
