Get an inside look at the fire service as Irmo Fire's High Intensity Team showcases firefighting equipment and performs live demonstrations, including a vehicle extrication!
Event Highlights:
• Live vehicle extrication demonstration
• Firefighters dressing out in full turnout gear while showcasing and explaining each piece
• Hands-on hose pulling and spraying for kids and adults
• Fire extinguisher training with Fire Marshal Brian Haley, including a chance to use one yourself
• Up-close access to our fire trucks, plus photo opportunities inside the apparatus

About us
Founded in 1963, the Irmo Fire District is a special purpose district providing fire rescue services to approximately 33 square miles, comprising of two counties and one municipality with a population of approximately 46,000-50,000 citizens.
The Irmo Fire High Intensity Team exists to encourage healthier lifestyles, build community connections, and promote the value of physical fitness for all.
