South Carolina Burned Children’s Fund
Supported By : Guns & Hoses Charity Bowling Tournament
The South Carolina Firefighters Burned Children’s Fund is a nonprofit charity organization dedicated to supporting the recovery and well-being of burn-injured children in South Carolina and their families. The organization also promotes burn awareness and prevention through community education and partnerships with emergency service organizations, while supporting burn centers and medical providers in delivering quality care to children.
Big Red Barn Retreat

The Big Red Barn Retreat is a South Carolina nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and their families transform struggle into growth and strength. Founded in 2014, their mission is to restore hope to heroes through posttraumatic growth, advocacy, and supportive community. Through programs such as Warrior PATHH and Struggle Well, the Big Red Barn Retreat provides peer-based training, education, and support designed to help build purpose, connection, and resilience. Their programs and services are offered at little to no cost to participants, thanks to the support of donors and community partners.
Sole Stepping
Supported By : Irmo Fire’s Pump & Run 5k
SOLE Stepping provides new, properly fitting shoes and socks to elementary school children experiencing poverty throughout South Carolina. Since 2016, they have provided more than 19,000 pairs of shoes to children in need. SOLE Stepping believes every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and included. Through partnerships with schools, businesses, churches, and community groups, they personally fit children with new shoes and socks, giving them the freedom to run, play, and participate without worrying about their footwear.

The Irmo Fire DEKA Spartan helps fund our participation in additional events and competitions throughout the year. Proceeds cover registration and participation costs for our firefighters, allowing us to take part in a variety of community events beyond those we host ourselves. Many of these events support meaningful charities and causes, giving our team the opportunity to connect with the community, promote health and fitness, and continue giving back throughout the year while representing Irmo Fire.
